The organizer of COSMOBEAUTY SEOUL, HEALTH INDUSTRY EXPO, Korea International Exhibition Co., Ltd. (KIECO) collects personal information only to inform the upcoming events organized by the same organizer, identify the visitor for entrance, verify age, and demonstrate visitor statistics. In the following cases, we provide personal information to third parties as an exception.
1) When the member has been informed in advance and consents to third-party provision.
2) When required by law, or for investigative, research, or academic purposes, according to the procedures and methods stipulated by law.

(1) Provision to Exhibition Participants (Electronic Business Card Service Users)
Recipient: electronic business card service users
*Electronic business card service: a service for conveniently exchanging business cards with participating companies, where personal information is not transferred without the active intention of the data subject (tagging the badge).
Personal information provided: name, company name, position, contact information, email, job classification
Retention and use period by the recipient: until the purpose of use is achieved or the data subject expresses refusal to receive

(2) Provision to Korea Exhibition Industry Promotion Association (AKEI)
Recipient: Korea Exhibition Industry Promotion Association (AKEI)
Purpose of use by the recipient: verification for international exhibition certification
Personal information provided: name, company name, position, contact information/email, etc.
Retention and use period by the recipient: until the purpose of use is achieved or the data subject expresses refusal to receive

(3) Report, etc. Information Provider
Recipient: to be separately announced on the registration page.
*It is used to guide visitors who have agreed to receive marketing materials.

Retention and use period by the recipient: until the purpose of use is achieved or the data subject expresses refusal to receive


2. Items of collected personal information

1) Collected items: name, sex, age, phone number, E-mail, address, company name, business classification, department, position, purpose of visit, interested items, way of referral, signed date, access log, cookie, access IP, etc.
2) Method to collect items: Website (pre-registration), on-site registration

3. Consignment of personal information

1) KIECO consigns the privacy policy to certain companies, specialized in exhibition registrations, in order to provide efficient services to customers.

Cooperating companies and responsibilities:
- Micehub (managing/operating website)
- Welltag Communications Co., Ltd. (operating exhibition registration system)

2) KEICO strictly regulates for consigned company to follow privacy policies, keep confidentialities, take responsibilities for any unexpected incidents, prohibit to share provided information with third party, keep the consigned period, and destroy relevant information after the period through official contract.

4. Use of personal information and retention period

In principle, after the purposes of collecting and using personal information have been fulfilled, the company shall, without delay, destroy relevant information provided. However, in a case that the company needs to preserve the information, the company keeps provided information under the regulations of related laws for a certain period of time.
    - Keeping items: name, sex, age, job, phone number, address, e-mail, etc
    - Purpose: Service improvement, research, plan, and inform further events
    - Duration of time: For 5 years

5. Right

As a general rule, you have the right to deny your consent to collect personal information under the Personal information Protection Act and if denied, you will be restricted to have access to enter the exhibition.
